Latin name: Astragalus membranaceus. In the Netherlands also known as fleshy box pod.

Astragalus originates from the north and east of China, Mongolia and Korea. There this herb is known as Huang qi, which means yellow leader. The root of this herb in particular has been gratefully used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for several centuries. In Europe this herb has become somewhat known through the book by SH Buhner.

Our Astragalus Tincture is organically prepared from dried root of Astragalus membranaceus. It is a natural product without allergens.

Astragalus effects

That Astragalus is a powerful herb is evident from its versatile applications. Unfortunately, due to European legislation, we can share little (product) information with (medical) content.

Ingredients
Astragalus contains bioactive substances such as polysaccharides, saponins and flavonoids. These are extracted by steeping the roots in alcohol, resulting in a Tincture which is rich in the natural properties of the plant.

This Astragalus Tincture can be combined well with Cordyceps and Chinese ginseng.

Dosage and use

Usage

Half an hour before a meal you can take the drops as they are, or in a glass of water. If you leave it for a while, the alcohol evaporates but the active ingredients are retained. Keep the liquid in your mouth for a while (preferably a minute) before you swallow; the ingredients come into contact with the oral mucosa and are absorbed directly into the bloodstream.

Always start the treatment with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. This is to prevent a lot of toxins being released at once (by the death of germs). Because toxins are always released (even at low doses), a lot of (water) is drunk during the treatment and at the same time detoxification and elimination agents are used.

The effect of Astragalus is enhanced by, among other things, Cordyceps, Chinese ginseng and Ashwagandha.

Dosage

Average treatment:build up to 15 to 30 drops 3 times a day

Intensive treatment:build up to 3 x daily 30 to 60 drops

Preventive use:2 x daily 3 to 5 drops

This dosage is maintained for adults. Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily dosage. Or as prescribed by your doctor or healthcare provider.

May cause autoimmune reactions in some cases of chronic Lyme.

Duration of the treatment

You can use this product indefinitely, but we advise to take a break after prolonged use. Or after consultation with your practitioner.
