The Latin name for Horsetail is Equisetum arvense. The English name is Horsetail. It is a plant from the horsetail family. Horsetail is good for tendons, bones, kidneys and bladder. It is a powerful herb that is very rich in minerals. The Greeks and Romans used Horsetail especially for the wounded after battles.
The plant is also called 'Roobol', 'Akkerpaardenstaart', 'Kattenstaart' or 'Unjer'. It is a perennial plant up to 40 cm high. In the spring, chlorophyll-free stems with spore ears appear on the top.
