Dosage
There is a standard dose on the bottle. Because every person is different and a tincture is used for various health goals, this can be deviated from. This way the dosage can be light or intensive. Always tune this with your practitioner.
What else can you take into account ?
- Build the dosage: Start with a low number of drops and build up to the standard dose or The dosage prescribed by your practitioner. For example, when the standard dose is 3 x 15 drops per day, for example, start with 3 x 5 drops per day. The larger the complaints, the lower you start.
- Pause when you notice a strong or annoying reaction: For example, you experience a Herxheimer reaction ? then discuss this with your practitioner, stop taking the tincture or reduce the dosage.
- Drink enough water: by drinking enough water you help your body with the excretion of waste.
- Pay attention to any interactions: tinctures are powerful and can have an effect on medication and have a contraindication. For example, you should not take some herbs with high blood pressure or heart problems. Always consult with your practitioner about this.
- Children: We do not recommend giving a tincture to children under the age of 12, unless prescribed by a practitioner. First go to an experienced therapist or doctor for advice.
- Novel Food: A number of products from
Green Vitality are a novel food according to European legislation. This means that within the EU it is not permitted to sell it for internal use. That is why there is no dosage on the label and on our website.
Internal use
You can take the drops half an hour before a meal. Shake the bottle before use and then let the drops fall directly from the bottle into your mouth. Preferably under or on the tongue. If you don't like that, drip the drops onto a teaspoon.
If you find the taste too strong or if it is not recommended to drip the tincture directly into your mouth, put the drops in a glass with a little water. Do you want to evaporate the alcohol? Then drop the drops in a glass with warm water. Let this stand for a while so that the alcohol has time to evaporate.
It is advisable to keep the liquid in your mouth for a while (preferably a minute); the ingredients come into contact with the oral mucosa and are absorbed directly into the bloodstream.
Results
The time it takes to experience results varies by person and type of complaint. Some people notice the effects quickly, while others need to be patient for longer. In general, it can take several days to weeks to see results. With concentrated herbal extracts, the effects can sometimes be felt within a few hours. Consistent use and patience are important to experience the benefits of natural products. Have you been using a tincture for a long time, but are not feeling relief? Then switch to a tincture of another herb or another natural remedy.
