Why is the information about the operation of our products limited?

Bee Green Vitality we want to inform you as well as possible. However, in many cases we share little information about the functioning of our products. There are two important reasons for this:

  • Much of the knowledge about herbs comes from herbal medicine, where herbs have been used for centuries for all kinds of applications. Unfortunately, we are not legally allowed to share this knowledge in our role as a sales channel., unless the operation has been officially approved by the European authorities.
  • We are not a doctor or therapist and cannot give you medical advice.

Any questions? Feel free to contact us!

We understand that it is nice to receive personal advice. Although we are also bound by the regulations on health claims by telephone, we are happy to think along with you. Do you have questions about our products or are you not sure what suits you? Please feel free to call us – we are happy to assist you.

What do we tell about our products?

We would like to give you as much information as possible that fits within the rules. That is why we are working on a broad description of our products.

  • A botanical description.
  • Information about the folk medicine, where appropriate and permitted.
  • The ingredients and where possible general usage.
  • And of course we mention health claims that have been approved by the EU or are still awaiting approval (the so-called on-hold claims). Please note: for some herbs, no health claims have been approved or are being processed (yet). In those cases, we unfortunately cannot say anything about the possible effect.

What are health claims?

A health claim is a statement about the effect of an ingredient on your health. For example: "Echinacea supports the immune system".

These claims are determined by the EFSA (the European Food Safety Authority) and the European Commission. Approval requires solid scientific evidence. Unfortunately, the proven effectiveness of folk medicine has no influence on this.

Claims that have already been submitted but not yet assessed will be placed on the so-called on hold-list. This means that they are still being processed and will only be approved or rejected after extensive scientific and policy consultation. In the meantime, these claims may be used under strict conditions, as long as they are provided with two asterisks (**) and comply with the general rules of Regulation (EC) 1924/2006, and are in accordance with national or European legislation.

Can you completely highlight the operation of the herb based on health claims?

We are aware that we cannot provide a complete picture with these claims alone of what a herb can possibly do. However, we choose to mention this information so that you as a customer are helped along somewhat. So we row with the oars we have.

If you find the information on our product pages insufficient, feel free to call usAlthough we are also bound by the regulations regarding health claims by telephone, we are happy to think along with you.

Why are the health claims in our products sometimes unclearly formulated?

Sometimes health claims sound a bit vague or cumbersome. This is because we have to literally copy them from European regulations. We are not allowed to clarify or make the text more attractive ourselves, even if that would be more pleasant for you as a reader. Deviating from the official wording is unfortunately not allowed.

Why do you read more about the operation of herbs on other websites?

Informative websites may say much more about the effects and applications of herbs. They do not link this information to the sale of a product.

How do you choose the right herb if information about the operation is not always clear?

Many of our customers:

  • Working with a therapist who advises them on which herb best suits their situation.
  • Do your own thorough research and based on that choose an herb that suits their needs.
  • Get tips from reliable sources, such as through friends or through training or a course.
